Principal's Report

Welcome to the 2025 school year at Allora P-10 State School!
We have hit the ground running with everyone transitioning to new routines and classrooms. Our classrooms have been very busy with learning starting from day 1. It has been a pleasure to watch our new students and families transition to our school and to welcome back existing families.
Many sporting events fill our calendar early in the year with Central Downs, Southern Downs and Border District trials. School staff have also planned many excursions to support our students’ learning in the classrooms. We encourage all families to register for QParents. This online system makes granting permissions for any events extremely convenient as well as providing many other features such as attendance and absence management, prior report cards, paying invoices and viewing positive behaviour records. If you are interested in signing up, please contact administration for our school’s unique registration code.
This year our whole school is focusing on ensuring all students are supported to reach their potential through the Department’s vision of Equity and Excellence. The goal for all of our students is to be successful in all they do.
We have a strong focus and commitment to the four priorities of:
- Consistent curriculum delivery
- Promoting a culture of learning
- Building an expert teaching team
- Connection and collaboration with our community
